Dr. William M. Wilson, E21’s Global Chair and President of Oral Roberts University (ORU), expressed his optimism for the future. “E21 has continued to expand globally into new frontiers of digital experiences, and now Ashley’s role will be vital in propelling E21 into the most important decade of evangelism in the history of the Church.”

Vice-chair of the Global Council and Senior Pastor of Planetshakers, Russell Evans, stated, “We are very excited about Ashley’s appointment as the Global Executive Director of Empowered21. The event concluded with a city outreach and evangelistic focus at Amsterdam’s famous Olympic Stadium. E21’s vision is that every person on earth will have an authentic encounter with Jesus through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit by the year 2033, commemorating the 2000-year anniversary of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus and the birth of the Church on the Day of Pentecost.

As the newly appointed Global Executive Director, Ashley Wilson shared his gratitude and aspirations for the new role, saying, “I’m looking forward to serving in this capacity. It is an honor to step into this position for Empowered21, to serve under the visionary leadership of Dr. Wilson, and to build on the work of my predecessors. I’ve had a front-row seat to what God has done around the world through E21. I am looking forward to continuing to serve the E21 family and the global Spirit-empowered church. With God’s help, we will lead the way toward reaching EveryONE on Earth with the Gospel by 2033.”
