We invite you to register and participate in a FREE “VIRTUAL Event” on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 (6:00 pm to 7:15 pm Mountain Time)

As a follower of Jesus Christ with a passion for a potential Business, Ministry Area, or Special Project … HOW do you overcome the FUNDING CHALLENGES that might otherwise prevent you from PURSUING YOUR VISION?

“FUNDING OPTIONS FOR START-UP AND GROWTH”

OUR FEATURED PRESENTERS:

DANNY HOOPER

Since 1987, Danny Hooper has helped countless non-profit organizations raise more than $250,000,000! As Canada’s top-rated fundraising auctioneer, Danny has assisted organizations like the David Foster Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, and the NFL. That said, Danny happily serves organizations of EVERY size, from the smallest to the biggest. Whether he’s selling dinner for two with famed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli for $100,000 at a David Foster Gala, or six rings of garlic sausage for $35 at a church basement charity dinner, Danny delivers the same high energy, highly skilled, and always-hilarious performance. We’re delighted to have Danny share his insights with our audience.

Danny Hooper is enjoying a remarkable ride. Born in Edmonton, Canada and raised on a cattle ranch near the tiny hamlet of Tomahawk, Alberta, Danny knew at an early age that his passion was in the entertainment world. In the decades since, he has parlayed his unique personality and off-beat sense of humour into an award-winning career and thousands of on-stage performances as a recording artist, keynote speaker, award-winning media personality, comedic emcee, and celebrity fundraising auctioneer.

DR. DAVID W. GILL

Everybody needs a job not just to pay their bills but to express their humanity and find their dignity, made in the image of our working Creator and Redeemer. The hardest job is finding a decent job. All people have skills that can be turned into fruitful work—but most can’t do this all on their own. Many of our fellow believers know something about how to help someone find or create a small enterprise based on their skills and market needs. What will it take for us to get moving on this adventure?

David W. Gill is a writer and teacher specializing in workplace ethics and theology. He retired in 2016 as Mockler-Phillips Professor of Workplace Theology & Ethics at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston (2010-2016). David earned his BA (1968) at UC Berkeley, his MA (1971) at San Francisco State, and his PhD at the University of Southern California (1979).  He is the author or editor of hundreds of articles and reviews and ten books, including Workplace Discipleship 101: A Primer (2020), and most recently What Are You Doing About It? The Memoir of a Marginal Activist (2022).

David is the Executive Director of Workplace 313 (www.wp313.org) a nonprofit, nondenominational organization whose mission is to equip and mobilize Christians to take their biblical ethics, values, and insights into their working lives – the 313 weekdays, not just the 52 Sundays each year.
