EDITORIAL NOTE: We have updated the date of this conference from 1952 to 1954. Dan McNaughton let us know that his dad didn’t join ACOP until 1953—and we know there was no ACOP Conference in 1953.

In figuring out the correct year of this Conference photo it was observed that Cliff Mitchell is too young for 1951 or 1952 and Denzel Fenn (obviously) is not 17 years old.  The other factor is if Frank Small resigned at Kedleston in 1953, 1954 would’ve been Gus Batke’s first time in the chair.  Also, it couldn’t have been 1955 for a number of reasons but one is—that Jack Blizzard is in this picture and he moved to the United States later in 1954.
